"Visitors" In Our Classroom

You may have heard your child talking about wizards, angels and elves. Is his/her imagination running wild? What is going in Room 103?

In the afternoons, Wizard San Juan Hill the Third of the Kingdom of Gubabaloo visits the classroom! He is invisible and his bubbles help to make children's brains smarter! We are proud of our progress in identifying letters, sounds, sight words and numbers. We are counting higher and higher!

The Christmas Angel brings a message each morning about preparing our hearts for Jesus. On the last day before the Christmas break, the angel will offer a list of our good deeds to Jesus.

And, Peace Elves have arrived! They come out only when the children are peacemakers, showing God's love and are quietly engaged in learning activities.

??? Question of the Day ???

Each morning, our students follow a specific routine when they enter the school. They hang up their backpacks, take off outdoor clothing, put their indoor shoes on, take out lunch bags, hand in zippies and answer the Question of the Day.

The Question of the Day is so much more than a classroom management tool. It helps them to reflect upon and apply their prior knowledge about a topic and to build literacy and math skills.

Question of the day in my preschool classroom. Tips and tricks to implement it in the classroom and WHAT students are learning. Perfect for preschool, pre-k, tk, and kindergarten.
