Our children are joined by two of our Grade 5 classroom helpers: Angelina and Anna.

What an exciting time in Room 103! Our students returned to school raring to go and ready to learn. It is a joy to witness them maturing, making new discoveries and, most of all, being kind to one another and showing God's love!

Space! The Final Frontier ...

Our Space Inquiry has generated many questions and a willingness to search for answers. We have been reading both fiction and non-fiction texts and consulting on-line resources such as StoryBots and StarChild: A Learning Center for Young Astronomers. Our learning is made visible while we are writing, drawing, building and engaged in imaginary play.

We consult our Space Word Wall
when writing about our discoveries and ideas.

We collaborate when we build rockets.

Snuggle Up and Read Program

This week, the JKs joined our SKs to participate in our Snuggle Up and Read Program. This program is meant to be enjoyable and rewarding. Our little ones are so excited to share their books with you! Please be sure to complete the record of your child's reading. If the form is left blank, we will assume you have been unable to read together and we will send the same book home again! Also, a new book will only be sent home when the older one is returned.
